Cinema Audio Society Announces Nominees

The Cinema Audio Society reveals the contenders for the 49th Annual Cinema Audio Society Awards for extraordinary achievements in sound mixing for 2012 in six classes. “These proposals show the best efforts in sound mixing for motion prints and small screen as chosen by the voting associates of the Cinema Audio Society and I wish many happy returns to each of the entrants”, whispered CAS President David Fluhr. “I am more than ever enchanted to announce, for the 1st time in the times gone by, the contenders for Foley and ADR Mixing in some of our sorts, as well as, the entrants in our newest class of animated motion picture”

Since the online voting has come into practice, our partaking has enhanced while our carbon paw mark has lessened”.

The Awards will be distributed at a sealed covering banquet on 16th in the Crystal Ballroom of the Millennium Biltmore Hotel. During this Awards banquet the highest reputation of the Cinema Audio Society- the CAS Career Achievement Award will be gifted to Production Sound Mixer Chris Newman and the CAS Filmmaker Award will be given to director Jonathan Demme. KTLA Entertainment Reporter Sam Rubin will be coming back as the Master of Ceremonies The Cinema Audio Society, a big hearted, non- profit  association, was originated in 1964 for the intention of sharing information with Sound experts in the Motion Print and small screen Industry.
